Our Story
Galo Véio is an artisan pizzeria in Cidade Baixa, in the heart of Porto Alegre. Our dough is made with cornmeal and naturally fermented, resulting in a pizza that is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
With over 49 flavors on the menu — classic, special and sweet — we believe great pizza starts with great dough. That is why we never cut corners on the artisan process.
You can order on WhatsApp, through our digital menu, or come dine in. We are open Tuesday through Sunday evenings at Rua Gen. Lima e Silva, 109.
On Sundays we serve galeto: whole or half roast chicken with side dishes. A gaúcho tradition we are proud to keep alive.

We work with 35cm large pizzas. All orders come in this standard size, with a half-and-half option available.

Yes! We host pizza rodízio events for groups of up to 40 people. Book via WhatsApp or visit our events page.
What makes your dough special?
Our dough is handmade with cornmeal and natural fermentation. This gives it a crispy texture and unique flavor — very different from industrial pizza.
Do you have dessert pizzas?
Yes! We have sweet pizzas on the menu, including in our dinner kits. Ask about available flavors on WhatsApp.

We accept cash, debit card, credit card and Pix. For delivery, payment is made upon arrival or via Pix before dispatch.
